    Innovative concept album by Italian composer and keyboards player Carlo Barbiera and a team of 8 musicians and 5 singers, under the banner Nascita Della Sfera or, Birth of the Sphere. Per Una Scultura di Ceschia is dedicated to the life and works of sculptor Luciano Ceschia (1926–1991), also a native from Friuli Venezia Giulia, like Barbiera – near Udine, in the North East of Italy. Composed of 2 side-long suites, the LP is a mix of electronic experimentation, musique concrète, analog synthesizer, traditional and folk songs, wordless vocals, spoken words, etc. Barbiera is heard on grand piano, toy piano, prepared piano and electronically processed piano.
