    9T ANTIOPE

    The "9T Antiope” duo band consists of Iranian musicians "Nima Aghiani" and "Sara Bigdeli Shamloo". The band formed in 2014 alongside the "Migrain Sq.” trio band, which also includes "Pouya Pour-Amin” and has existed since 2002.
    Working since 2014 with this new band, their latest album “Syzygys” will be released in December 2015 by “Unperceived Records”.
    The main focus of the band is on experimental music, using layers of acoustic instruments, electronics and combining them with vocals and lyrics, in order to narrate tiny bits or huge landscapes of the chaotic worlds they vision, along with their inhabitants

    JOSS TURNBULL

    Growing up with a father who is percussionist as well, jazz and free improvisation were a natural environment for Joss Turnbull since early age. Performing on stage, being part of various musical projects as well as composing his own music began with the age of twelve and has not stopped till today. One of the most important acquaintances he made was with percussionist Mohammed Reza Mortazavi in 2005, who introduced him to the Iranian goblet drum the Tombak, that is now the centre piece of his artistic work. His sound ranges from minimalistic musical explorations of one instrument through fingers, palms, fingernails, sticks, brushes and rubber to sets of extreme sounds of raw expression, supplemented by electronics. 2013 he released his first cd 'Isturnbull' followed by solo concerts, at Alte Feuerwache Mannheim, Beirut Irtijal Festival a. o.

    ASHKAN NOROOZKHANI

    Born on 1984 in Tehran/Iran, "Ashkan Norouzkhani" is a graduate on "Image" from "Eicar" Audio-Visual school.
    He's main activities concern "The Relation between Human and Space"; he mostly presents this subject in the form of an experiment on photography and video.
