Building on her 2020 debut EP Tóquio Bug, which introduced a strain of baile funk mutated in Tokyo’s underground, the album pushes further into the distorted energy of hard funk and BRUXARIA. DESVIO FULL THROTTLE embodies the concept of “DESVIO”—deviation, distortion, divergence—as her present artistic stance.
The album features guest appearances from MC Kalyu and Yandrel from Brazil, alongside Japanese artists valknee, levi (STARKIDS), RYUKI, BBBBBBB, rirugiliyangugili, and BOTSU a.k.a. NGS (Dos Monos). The artwork was created by AOI ITOH.
