Selon la tradition sanskrite, un cycle de quatre périodes (Yugas*) représente le développement de la conscience terrestre : Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dvapara Yuga, Kali Yuga. Selon cette tradition, la Terre et ses habitants vivraient actuellement leur dernier cycle, le plus obscurantiste et matérialiste : une période chaotique construite de mensonges, de symboles inversés et de divisions extrêmes dans la conscience humaine. Cette période fait cohabiter les germes d'un avenir lumineux et les déchaînements des forces retardataires, empêchant l'humanité d'accéder à sa réalité. En Occident, on l'apparente à l'Apocalypse de Saint-Jean: le dévoilement. En cette période, les contraires absolus se côtoient et s'affrontent, et nous expérimentons collectivement, sur le plan psychique et matériel, les déchirements de ces jeux de forces. C'est sur cette approche du chaos et de la cohabitation des extrêmes que j'ai conçu cet album. Comme une allégorie du psychisme humain contemporain, en proposant des plages sonores calmes et lumineuses, interférées et parasitées… Textures acoustiques et électroniques se confrontent, sonorités du fond des âges et de la nature, perturbations électromagnétiques, voix radiophoniques hachurées : amas chaotiques d'informations et de vibrations. L'ensemble est un tableau clair-obscur où l'aspect magique reste quelque peu inquiétant… La lumière tente de pénétrer, et l'ombre joue habilement ses dernières cartes… La matière sonore de cet album provient d'enregistrements de concerts, réassemblés sous forme de patchwork tout en demeurant fidèle à l'atmosphère chaotique et spontanée des performances.
*Les Yugas, dans la tradition hindoue, représentent des cycles de temps qui marquent l'évolution de l'humanité. Le Satya Yuga, ou âge d'or, est une époque idéale, où la vérité et la vertu règnent, et où l'humanité vit en parfaite harmonie. Vient ensuite le Treta Yuga, où la pureté commence à se ternir, et les premières divisions sociales et conflits apparaissent, bien que la société reste encore relativement juste. Le Dvapara Yuga marque une période de déclin plus prononcé, où les injustices et les déséquilibres deviennent plus fréquents. Enfin, le Kali Yuga, notre époque actuelle, est un âge où règnent l'ignorance, le vice et la corruption, et où l'humanité semble s'éloigner de plus en plus de ses idéaux spirituels. Chaque Yuga reflète ainsi un recul progressif de la vertu et de la sagesse, dans un cycle éternel.

According to Sanskrit tradition, a cycle of four periods (Yugas*) represents the development of Earth's consciousness: Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dvapara Yuga, Kali Yuga. According to this tradition, the Earth and its inhabitants are currently living their last cycle, the most obscurantist and materialist: a chaotic period built of lies, inverted symbols and extreme divisions in human consciousness. This period brings together the seeds of a bright future and the unleashing of backward forces, reminding humanity to access its reality. In the West, similar to the Apocalypse of Saint John: the unveiling. In this period, absolute opposites rub shoulders and confront each other, and we collectively experience, on a psychic and material level, the tears of these games of forces. It is on this approach to chaos and the cohabitation of extremes that I designed this album. As an allegory of the contemporary human psyche, by offering calm and luminous sound beaches, interfered and parasitized… Acoustic and electronic textures confront each other, sounds from the depths of the ages and nature, electromagnetic disturbances, hatched radio voices: chaotic masses of information and vibrations. The whole is a chiaroscuro painting where the magical aspect remains somewhat disturbing… The light tries to penetrate, and the shadow skillfully plays its last cards… The sound material of this album comes from concert recordings, reassembled in the form of a patchwork while remaining faithful to the chaotic and spontaneous atmosphere of the performances.
*The Yugas, in the Hindu tradition, represent cycles of time that mark the evolution of humanity. The Satya Yuga, or golden age, is an ideal era, where truth and virtue reign, and where humanity lives in perfect harmony. Then comes the Treta Yuga, where purity begins to end, and the first social divisions and conflicts appear, although society still remains relatively just. The Dvapara Yuga marks a period of more pronounced decline, where injustices and imbalances become more frequent. Finally, the Kali Yuga, our current era, is an age where ignorance, vice and corruption reign, and where humanity seems to move further and further away from its spiritual distinctives. Each Yuga thus reflects a progressive decline in virtue and wisdom, in an eternal cycle.
