   ♞ LES TRUCS [Allemagne]

   Les Trucs is an assemblage of numerous digital and analogue machines, 4 hands plus 4 legs, and 2-5 lamps.
   The music is produced in by touch or program.
   Lamps and machines are put into effect by all parts of the bodies.
   IE lamp-hats and effect-unit-belts.
   The lamps purpose is to accentuate the bodies solo-parts, rhythms, drama or simply their prettiness.
   The actor's bodies belong to "zink tonsur" (who is the silent and weak part) and "charlotte simon" (who is the rude macho part),
   performing an embarrassing & randomly-driven spasm-workoutdance around their machine-table which is symmetrically positioned in the middle of the space.
   The audience's bodies might follow suit.

   Les Trucs are 4 arms and several technical utensils.
   Together they produce noise...music in the widest sense.
   A 2 piece-thing -orchestra imitating r´n´b-jingles, organ-fugues and space-soundtracks.
   They are the thrash-version of jean michel-jarre.
   A dilletant human/machine standing in the middle of the room bleeping.
   They like to touch and get touched.
   They like oscilators and cheap keyboards.
   They like robots and knight-movies.
   They can´t sing, but they try.
   They are from frankfurt/germany, but don´t blame them for it!

   Existing since 2008, Les Trucs released several eps, 7"s and one album on different labels (zeitstrafe, steak au zoo, fettkakao, whosbrain records, erode records, sicsic-records) and played over 400 shows europewide.

   They composed and musically joined several theatreplays ("Tod und Wiederauferstehung der Welt meiner Eltern in mir" at Schauspiel Hannover (2012), e.g.) and took part in exhibitions and performances (" Making normative Orders" at Kunstverein Frankfurt (2012), "Kristalo" at Lüften Festival 2012, e.g.).
   They are setting up a festival for 1- and 2-headed musicacts once a year ("1,2-piecefest" / darmstadt) and are part of the music-collective "Knertz".

   They currently work on a conceptual album about love-relations between humans and things, which is going to be released in november 2012.

   ♞ SEAL OF QUALITY [France]

   Bitpop ? Chip-rock ? 8bit-noise ? Un peu tout ça, ou alors pas du tout. Avec quelques game boys, un synthé, une guitare et un vocoder, on peut faire tout un tas de choses, et c’est précisément ce que fait Seal Of Quality.
   En concert, Nicolas Cueille, le visage derrière cette entité envoie une succession de courts assauts sonores, débordant de voix synthétiques et de sonorités 8 bits.
   Imaginez la fusion entre Megaman et Rob Crow. C’est un one-man-band qui sonne comme un vrai groupe, c’est super efficace, mélodique et accrocheur. Il est un électron libre.
