Markus Detmer is the owner and manager of the fabulous Staubgold label. He started in Cologne in 1998, and after moving to Berlin some years later, he recently relocated again to lovely Perpignan in the southern part of France, not far from the Spanish border. In Perpignan the sun even shines where the sun doesn’t shine, and Markus Detmer became basshead Monsieur Croque. His Pingipung podcast is full of Dub- and Raggagreatness with a heavy emphasis on percussion. Sooo good.
