Le Words On Tracks de cette semaine est plein de glitches, profitez-en bien !!

    1. Biosphere - Phantasm

We have chosen to start with Biosphere's wonderfull techno-ambient track it has an earie feeling with those creepy kids
sample from "Village of the Damned" it has Biosphere's ice crackling sonic textures that in a way gives it an other wordly feeling.
The synth line that resembles a feeling of an eminent danger lurking about.

    2.anno_logic - Deformaticon

In a way Deformaticon takes it off where Biosphere left where the ice crackling has become a rhythmic texture and the underlaying
pad synths takes it to a more sinister level. Deformaticon is an important change in our approach sonically where we have chosen to use
self generating rhythms for the first time.

    3.Flint Kids - Day Nil

We have both have been exposed to Flint Kids just recently and the intricate sonic creations just blew us away.
Day Nil is the first track of their album , an it is a logical progression in the mix , our love of chaotic evolving rhythmic
textures and great sonic craftmanship has been taken to whole new level by them .

    4.Autechre - Flep

Autechre's place in our hearts is eternal , the connection to the previous track sonically is self explenatory , words quite
fail us , maybe because we are such great fans of their art . They are truly a contemporary sonic beacon of exellence.

    5.Nonima - Morphism

Nonima's beautiful creation fitted in the mix like a glove , we are truly grateful in knowing Tam Ferrans (Nonima)
personally , his ability to express himself sonically in a wide range of compositions is mindblowing .
His layers of rhythm and beautifully crafted electronics is a sign of great craftmanship.

    6.anno_logic - Corvus Corax

Corvus Corax (the latin definition of a Crow) lifts the mix to a more sci-fi kind of vibe , the inspiration came after
watching The Alien Anthology , i wanted to express the vacuum of space and the general atmosphere of the "Nostromo"
The rhythm is an expression of the whole predatorial vibe of those wonderfull sci-fi masterpieces .

    7.Re-Arbeiten - Uhrgnrk

This track is another expression of our true love of generative music . We have been exposed more and more lately to the freedom
that such tools present. Our love of algorithms and fractal math is beeing expressed over the main melodic lines , where all those parts
were created by those wonderfull tools. The rhythm is more contained but we love the way it relates to the freedom of the melodies.
It's such a joy to preprogram those lines and press play and to see how the "machine" takes over . We believe this is the purest form of man/machine
    connection.

8.Nine Inch Nails - At the Heart of it All - Aphex Twin Remix

This track is our eternal "Hymn of Hell" as sinister as it is blissfull at the same time , we are both total NIN and Aphex Twin groopies ,so any more
words about it would be too embarassing .

    9.How to Destroy Angels - A Drowning (Z.M. Cyclone B Remix)

This rework of HTDA's A Drowning was a pleasent adventure in exploring the beauty of their production techniques , the pulse of the rhythm gives
the original a more held back approach.

    10.Einsturzende Neubauten - Blume

Einsturzende Neubauten is a great influence of our work , we both grew up listening to Blixa hammering our heads with those charming noises .

11.How to Destroy Angels - Ice Age

Although it is quite fresh , this track stood out in HTDA's recent album because of it's charming orchestration. It's connection to the previous track is
evident in those beautifully played kalimbas . The mix has turned from the Cyber Punk to Steam Punk in the last two tracks , something that we also feel
    in our creations .

    12.Re-Arbeiten - Khobe Schkotch

This last piece is one of our recent ones , it takes the whole mix to a more childish playfull vibe , a feeling that evolves almost all of our creations .
We are actually still kids playing with machines , enjoying the great joy of discovery every step .

    BONNE ÉCOUTE !
